Stefan is a purveyor of grimdark LitRPG adventures, plunging readers into the harsh realities of a System Apocalypse where survival is a brutal grind and the line between human and monster blurs with every Level gained.

With a background steeped in tabletop role-playing—including co-creating the post-apocalyptic LodlanD RPG system—he brings over 25 years of gaming experience to his fast-paced, character-driven stories.

Steven Black (pen name, fictional biography)

Steven used to be a journalist for the Ardenwick Beacon, which influences his writing until this day. He's at home when things clash and collide in ways that are… unexpected. He writes gritty, urban fantasy, and is known for crafting dark worlds where the supernatural and the mundane collide. 

His stories are heavily influenced by classic hard-boiled detective fiction and the moody atmosphere of cities like London and Providence, Rhode Island. 

When he isn't writing about arcane mysteries and hard-luck investigators, he can be found exploring the urban landscape, often with a notebook and a healthy dose of caffeine.
